About Us
Have Fun. Make Friends. Feel Good.
That’s the philosophy of Funventures Tours. We want to encourage and inspire everyone to get outside and have fun. Our tours are about trying something new (or old) and exploring our beautiful surroundings in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Funventures are appropriate to anyone 21 and older (because some involve refreshments!). Each Funventure lasts generally one to two hours, but could go longer, depending on how the mood strikes us. The only thing extreme about Funventures is the amount of fun we have!
About the owner. Amy is a lifelong Bucks County resident currently living in Yardley. She learned to kayak in Hawaii and has paddled the waters of Alaska and the Jersey Shore for the last 10 years. She is a member of the Bucks County Dragon Boat Association community team. But don’t worry, Paddle Funventures are all about fun and take place on calm flat waters of local lakes and canals.
After years of running (and running injuries), a Physical Therapist suggested that she try biking. She hasn’t been off a bike since. On an average day, she can be seen on her bike riding through her neighborhoods, the canal path, or paddling her yellow kayak on local lakes. She loves exploring the many miles of the D&L, and Raritan Canal paths as well as local parks, trails, and lakes throughout the area.
Amy loves organizing paddles, bike rides, trips, and other fun events. This is how Funventures Tours was born. Amy’s hope is that everyone can take some time out to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, and the joy of making new friends!
